Description

The program is based on a series of basic courses in the art of making jewelry and precious metals. It also provides them with scientific, cognitive and skill qualification, artistic doctrines, and related concepts that help them know the most important techniques, tools and raw materials used in jewelry making workshops.

What Will I Learn?

  • Identify the types of plumbing processes and metal casting molds
  • Learn about the steps of the plumbing process in simple and open molds
  • Learn about the art of spreading precious metals (arquet art).
  • Understand the methods behind the precious metals diffusion process
  • Acquiring knowledge and skills through the formation of metal wires by applying them and creating artistic jewelry items
  • Take advantage of decorative accessories such as (beads - glass cloves) with metal wire.
  • Understand and know the methods of using hammers in shaping precious metals.
  • How to form a dome out of metal.
  • How to form metal pipes.
  • Understand and acquire special knowledge and skills for the sheet metal printing forming process.
  • Learn about the rolling mill and how to use it
  • Acquiring knowledge and skills related to the basics of joining and welding metals used in the jewelry industry.
  • Identify the most important types of alloys used in welding different metals.
  • Knowing the types of welding in connecting jewelry parts and how to determine the appropriate temperatures for welding metals.
