Lootah Technical Centre was conceived by our Chairman Haj Saeed Lootah in 1990, initially known as the “Technical Institute”, to complement the academic curriculum of the Islamic school (also part of the S.S. Lootah Group) with practical training, enabling the students to discover their professional aptitudes and in turn contribute to human capital development. This humble vision has grown into a large entity that we know today as the “Lootah Technical Centre”, an institution “where education and industry merge.

LTC is committed to carrying forward the vision of our Chairman further. For this, the center has mandated itself with a mission to develop productive human capital to serve and suit the dynamic market requirements. Our unique business model is inspired by the guiding principles for economic and social development as laid down by the REGIONAL Strategic Plan for dubai. We hope that our programs and activities contribute in fulfilling the vision of our leadership. LTC adopts the approach of competency based education (CBE) to assure that trainees of all levels and types are competent to achieve new levels of competency in the real world of work.

Our model also follows the concept of “for the industry, by the industry” and hence, all our trainers are from the industry to ensure that the training is as per industry requirements. We have also introduced advanced technology, business service and SPWC centres to build Knowledge that will enable us to compete globally. Our overall approach is to enrich the industry with core competencies that allow human development and knowledge dissemination.
